Graduation Chorus

All 6th & 7th chorus members will be performing at the 8th grade graduation on Monday, June 21 at 7pm. Students should arrive at 630pm and be dressed in NICE, SCHOOL APPROPRIATE clothes, or the concert attire. Any student not dressed appropriately will not perform. The ceremony is over at 8pm. Students should be picked up promptly.

Star Spangled Banner Test

Spring Concert

The Spring Concert is Thursday, May 20 @ 7pm. All performers should be at RMS at 6:30pm, dressed in all black. There is no special attire required for the daytime assembly which is scheduled for 1:15pm.

Due to a death in the family, there will be no Select Choir rehearsal on May 6. Our next rehearsal is May 18. ALL singers must attend on this date.

Please try to make every rehearsal; May 6 and, May 18. Please note that instead of having rehearsal on May 20 which is our concert date, we will have our dress rehearsal from 2:30 - 3pm on TUESDAY May 18!

There is NO rehearsal on May 13 due to the school musical.

Also, remember our trip is the following MONDAY, APRIL 26. We will wear our black performance outfits, lunch at BK or bring bag lunch.

Students in Select Choir and Strings will be going on a field trip to the rec. center for the senior citizen luncheon on March 24.

REMINDER: Dress code is all black, short sleeve black shirt, skirt/pants, etc...

LUNCH: We will stop at McDonalds. Please bring money to buy lunch, or bring a bag lunch if you prefer. We will be out of school from 11am to 1:30pm.

Every music student needs to bring a notebook/folder with paper, and a pencil and pen.

Students often find that bringing their own headphones will help facilitate class work. Any headphone/earbuds will do. It is also helpful to get one 1/4" adapter for the keyboards. You can find these at Radio Shack, Best Buy, or Waverly in Madison.

Winter Concert****

All chorus, band and strings students will play in the Winter Concert on December 10. There is an assembly performance during the day at 1:15, and the evening concert is at 7pm. Students should arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 for the evening performance, and report to assigned rooms.

Concert attire is BLACK. Girls may wear skirts, pants, etc...boys to wear pants, please no sweatpants, shorts or sneakers.

6th Grade Music Test
